EA800-IP Discontinuation steps

Disable the Cloud

The EA800-IP devices will be taken offline on the 30th of Sept, 2026 @ 10A.M. Central, and deleted off your INSIGHT account.

Your EA800-IP Device will keep trying to connect to the INSIGHT platform unless the Cloud setting is disabled.

To change the cloud setting:

1. Unlock the EA800-ip using the default, 0800, unlock code:

• Press the Home (House) button. On the bottom left, over the F1, will be UNLOCK, press F1 to start the Unlocking process.
• Press the F1 button once or twice to bring up the "Enter Password" prompt.
• Press the F3 button once to move the cursor to the second place from the left.
• Press the Down Arrow twice to bring up the 8.
• Press the Enter Key (Left Arrow)
• You will be re-directed back home, over the F1 key, the word should now be LOCK, this means you are unlocked, and pressing F1 will LOCK the device.

2. Once the device is unlocked go to Main Menu > System > Configuration > Network > Client Mode > Then Select Disable. It will ask you to press OK (F3) To reboot. After the reboot, the cloud will be disabled. 

Running Reports for the deleted EA800-IP devices

(Note: Running a EA800-IP device will only show past data.)

All reports will be based on the Reports Tab.

1. Once inside the Reports Tab, give the Report a name. For historical reports, it's best to have some identification of how often. Such as daily graph.

2. Select the type of report

4. You will now be on step #2 where you can select the "Deleted Sensors" Toggle to show the deleted sensor(s) and or device(s) you want the report to run.

This will show a list of all your deleted sensors/devices, you can select each sensor you wish to run a report for. (Note: Below shows a EA800-IP device, indicated by the antennas on the icon.)

(Note: there will be a timestamp of when the sensor was created and deleted next to the name.)

5. Click Continue

6. You will now be on step #3 where you can select the report output
