Sensor Scheduling from INSIGHT

INSIGHT can modify your sensor limits based on your defined schedule. This can assist when sensors need to have different tolerances between limits during certain hours.

Start by selecting a sensor from your device and on the edit page, click on "Sensor Schedule"

NOTE: The "Sensor Schedule" button may be grayed out if the system is pending an update from the device. This will adjust back to blue when the system is ready. A refresh may need to occur on the web page.

After enabling Scheduling:

You can modify when you want to adjust the settings to your "Scheduled Settings".

NOTE: Only one scheduled setting can be set per sensor.

NOTE: INSIGHT will attempt to send the update to the device at the top of the hour. The device update may take a few minutes from when INSIGHT sets the adjustment. If missed, it will retry every hour until it is completed. A device that is offline from INSIGHT will not update.

The Default Settings, can only be changed on the sensor edit page:

During scheduled hours, the "Schedule Status" will be enabled and active.

NOTE: Status will change depending on if you are enabled or disabled, as well as active or inactive. Enabled Inactive would mean you have a scheduled enabled, but you are currently not in the scheduled timeframe.

NOTE: Any adjustments to "Default Settings" while the schedule is active, will overwrite the current settings, and be the setting when the schedule triggers back to default. This allows for quick override access in case of an emergency.

Changes will be reflected in your sensor history:

NOTE: Any sensor setting change from INSIGHT will roll down to the device, and the device will confirm the changes back to INSIGHT. This is why you should see two changes for a single setpoint change when adjustments are made from INSIGHT.
